Is it Too Late To Save My Plants? | News | |||||||||||||||||||||

Persistent deer browsing (as shown in the example images section of this website) will eventually kill your shrubbery and perennials. In almost all cases however if you commence a deer spraying program, even after significant damage has occurred your plants will recover 100%.
1. Commence a repellent spray program to prevent further wind and/or deer damage 2. Cut back all of the burned or chewed vegetation to healthy wood. 3. Stimulate new growth with a 14/14/14, 9 month fertilizer 4. Mulch roots, particularly with 2" of compost mulch. This will prevent freeze damage and will help regulate the roots temperature. Keep mulches 4" away from main stem. 5. Water occasionally (never more then every 3 - 5 days for established plantings and never less then 1 - 3 days for new plantings) 5 gallons for trees, 2 gallons for shrubs
